RTSP Mixer

eufy cameras on Apple TV

Updated October 16, 2026 · Deutsche Fassung

The eufy Security app exists for iPhone and iPad, not for Apple TV. Many eufy cameras also deliver their picture over RTSP, though, and RTSP Mixer can show that on your TV: several cameras side by side, their audio in one mix. Setup takes a few minutes and happens almost entirely on the iPhone.

1. Turn on RTSP in the eufy app

  1. In the eufy Security app, open the camera and go to its settings.
  2. Look for the RTSP switch. Depending on the model it is called “RTSP Stream” or sits under Storage › NAS (RTSP).
  3. Turn it on and set a user name and password for the stream. This is a separate login, not your eufy account.
  4. The app then shows the address, usually rtsp://192.168.…/live0. Note the IP address.

Not every model offers RTSP. Battery cameras often lack the switch, because a continuous stream would drain the battery fast. Give the camera a fixed IP address in your router so it is still found at the same address after a restart.

2. Add the camera in RTSP Mixer

  1. Open RTSP Mixer on the iPhone or iPad and tap Add camera.
  2. Under Model, choose eufy Security. The app fills in the path /live0 itself.
  3. Enter IP address, user name and password from step 1 and save. After a second or two the tile should show picture and level.

Same again for every further camera. If a tile stays dark, see The camera does not answer.

3. Bring them to Apple TV

  1. On the iPhone, in RTSP Mixer, turn on Settings › Backup › Keep in sync via iCloud.
  2. Download RTSP Mixer on the Apple TV and turn on the same switch under Settings › iCloud.
  3. The cameras appear on their own, views included. No address to type with the remote.

Both devices have to be signed in with the same Apple Account. Swiping up on the remote shows the bar with views and “mute all”; a selected tile goes full screen.

Pan and tilt

eufy cameras do not speak ONVIF, so RTSP Mixer cannot turn them directly. With Home Assistant and the eufy_security integration it still works, on iPhone, iPad and Mac; Apple TV has no camera control. The setup is described in Support.

What it costs

One camera runs free for as long as you like. Several at once run for a minute after every launch, to try them out; after that a one-time purchase opens the full wall for good, on all your devices. No subscription.

RTSP Mixer shows up to nine IP cameras side by side and mixes their audio, on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. One camera is free, the full wall is a one-time purchase, no subscription.
